Dear Colleagues,

Within the framework of the 5th Olympus International Conference on Supply Chains, we seek to contribute to the supply chain management agenda through enriching scientific knowledge in an effort to proliferate the performance efficiency and support decision-making in the modern economy. In this context, we invite papers on innovative technical developments, reviews, case studies, analytical, as well as assessment, papers from different disciplines, which are relevant to all different aspects related to a wide variety of different supply chain management related thematic fields. Indicatively, the following topics are welcome to be captured in the contributions to the conference; transportation management, warehouse management, international logistics networks, maritime logistics, supply chain management information systems (ERP, WMS, CRM), information and communication technologies (ICT), Internet of Things (IoT), robotics and automation, artificial intelligence, remote sensing, data management (e.g. big data), product traceability, quality management systems, green and reverse supply chains, circular economy and sustainable development, to name a few.

Researchers, practitioners and scholars are encouraged to participate in the discussion about all interactions between economy, technology, environment and society. Authors are invited to present original papers for oral or poster presentation in all supply chain management fields. The submitted contributions should be original. In this light, they should not be previously published or submitted for publication in other editions.

Submissions must be sent electronically through the Microsoft Conference Management Tool (CMT) for 5th Olympus International Conference on Supply Chains. Submissions will be open until February 15th, 2024, and in this abstract submission period authors are free to submit either an abstract or a full paper. Oral presentations should be planned for 15 minutes in length.

Abstracts should be:

  • no more than 500 words in length
  • structured clearly, indicating the theoretical framework, the research design, the methods used and the key results
  • follow the Springer CCIS format based on Submission guidelines
  • submitted in English (the official language of the conference)

(*) Special Issue
Selected papers will be published to the International Journal of Business and Economic Sciences Applied Research. Extended papers will undergo an additional review process following the publication policy of the journal.
